Designed by Mario Bellini in 1970, Camaleonda returns after 50 years with a new edition which aims to re-read in a modern key an indisputable classic. Mario Bellini and B&B Italia have chosen to keep the 90x90 seat model, as well as the backseat and armrest, faithful to the original design. Even the original polyurethane foam padding which gives shape to the characteristic capitonné remains unchanged, still to this day achieved through the innovative system devised by Bellini in 1970. The entirely redesigned interior distinguishes itself for its "sandwich" structure, made out of layers of recycled or recyclable materials, for an easy disassembly. The sofa lays on the floor through a series round feet in FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified beech wood.
