The Quiet Lines collection by Gabriel Tan and B&B Italia features a series of transversal furniture pieces, including a desk, a bench, a bedside table and a screen, that embody the essence of serenity. The silhouette of each piece is defined by curved and straight lines, creating a visually striking graphic effect. The curved, padded surfaces, which are a hallmark of the collection, provide a protective layer on which to store objects or sit. The details, such as the strap elements, the stitching of the shelves and the hinges of the screen, are remarkably elegant. The slender frames of the collection are made of thin steel profiles painted bronzed nickel or black chrome. The writing desk, in particular, can be used as a vanity unit and features a useful indentation between the top and the upholstered leather backrest, perfect for displaying books and objects.
