Noguchi himself described Coffee Table as one of his best designs, no doubt because it resembles his bronze and marble sculptures of the time, and faithfully transferring their biomorphic shapes onto a piece of sculptural furniture. A heavy glass tabletop rests on two wooden elements with a right-angle structure, available in black ash (pictured), walnut or maple.
