Designed by Lapo Ciatti, the armchair combines a comfortable and enveloping seat with an immediately recognizable shape, enriched with details from modern language. The project arises from a dialogue between past and present, where historical references are reinterpreted with irony and formal rigor. The name evokes medieval suggestions, while the aesthetic composition plays on material contrasts and new combinations: the capitonné processing dialogues with a metal structure of decisive character, creating a balance between classical memory and contemporary sensitivity. The presence of the pouf completes the seating experience, enhancing the comfort and coherence of the project. Available with different fabric or leather upholsteries, Guelfo lends itself to different interpretations, always maintaining a strong visual identity.
