Description
The wood, seeking movement, exchanges its silent stillness with rhythm. At times it presents itself vertically, fragments or splits, launching its fibers across a checkerboard, according to a poetic and muted pattern. Its paper-thin carvings scatter unique and graphic geometric compositions into the environment, all entirely handmade. In its natural compositions, meticulously assembled, Paulownia detaches from the wood to invent a graphic lexicon. Dyed with innovative techniques, it is both warm and cool and in some references it is associated with a metallic background.
