With the Saturno table, Alias renews the dialogue with Mario Botta, translating his architectural language into a table with a strong visual impact. The central base, the true protagonist of the project, is composed of four elements in colored MDF, anchored to a glossy black steel cylinder. The alternation of solids and voids gives rise to a sculptural structure that conveys lightness while maintaining a solid and authoritative presence. The circular top, available in various sizes and materials (marble, acid-etched glass, MDF), is hollowed out in the center to accommodate an extra-clear glass disc, which acts as a skylight: the light passes through the surface and animates the base with transparency effects. Also available in a small table version, called Saturno 48, and in two special editions MB Edition, Saturno blends design and architecture in a rigorous formal balance. A pure geometric vision that reinvents the concept of conviviality.
