The opening is via a multifunction crank: by turning it, the carriage extends, and the roof opens synchronously. The opposing sliding principle allows for a high closing height, avoiding interference with the furnishings below. With fixed anchoring systems, the parasol maintains stability even with wind up to 55 km/h.
