Uyuni Vase

The Uyuni Vase belongs to the GUAXS Masterpiece line, a collection of glass and crystal sculptures made in limited edition. The artwork is born from a creative process that combines artistic design and high-level craftsmanship: the model is pre-sculpted in plaster in the designers' workshop and then hand-blown by specialized glassmakers using fully colored multilayer glass and precious crystal. The strong materiality is given by the use of thick crystal, which reveals the depth of the various color layers and amplifies the perception of light within the glass mass. Each piece is selected with strict criteria of quality and transparency, then engraved, cut, and polished manually with tools specially developed to achieve distinctive patterns and workings. The result is an artistic crystal vase with a sculptural character, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and conceived as a collectible item in the field of contemporary glass design.
