Twelve A.M. is a double bed with a basic shape, typically oriental, distinguished by the use of wood and metal and by the soft upholstery in either fabric or leather. The headboard, tall and collected, seems to embrace the mattress and is internally cladded with soft monochrome fabrics or leathers. At the centre lays a comfortable cushion, used as headrest, hooked to the head by two leather straps available in different colours. Two little circular suspended trays are placed near the side of the headboard which can be used as night stands. If the bed is arranged at the center of the room it’s possible to equip Twelve A.M with a cantilever shelf on the back. The wooden bed floor rests on four thin metal legs and welcomes a concave casing, in either leather or fabric, ideal for all types of mattresses. A comfortable bench which follows Twelve A.M.’s design, such as the cushion with leather straps, can be placed at the feet of the bed and can also be transformed, thanks to Neri&Hu’s creative mind, in a new furnishing accessory: a small alcove where you can change resting or hanging previously worn items.
